The McRuffy Kindergarten Color Math Curriculum is a highly interactive math program that emphasizes a well-balanced variety of skills. Auditory, visual, and tactile methods are used to develop concepts. Our kindergarten math lesson plans contain a detailed teacher's manual, colorful workbook, and resource pack containing card sets, games, posters, and more. The curriculum is ideal for home school programs, traditional classrooms and just for use as supplemental material by parents.
Our kindergarten math lesson plans also use popular math manipulatives (sold separately in some packages). An inexpensive kit has been packaged especially for the curriculum.
The easy-to-use kindergarten math lesson plans give daily assignments. Worksheets give students the opportunity to practice and demonstrate skills. Mats, charts, and flashcards expand the opportunities to learn and support instruction. Manipulatives are an important part of our kindergarten math lesson plans, so be sure to use them!

| Do you plan on using McRuffy Math for many grade levels?
All the manipulatives you'll need for grades K to 3 are available in one kit so you won't need to upgrade through the years. The Color Math Super Kit is also a great idea if you're teaching two or more children in different grade levels to avoid buying kits with duplicate items. | Individual

Basic Math
The original McRuffy Kindergarten Math Curriculum is still available and now called
K Basic Math. This program features a black and white workbook with fewer pages
(67 pages total) and less detailed kindergarten math lesson plans than the new Color Math program. Many of the same concepts are covered, but K Basic Math has fewer supporting activities.
